MADRID (Reuters) - Spanish coach Ernesto Valverde is threatened with dismissal from the Catalan club and not completing his contract, Spanish press reports said on Saturday

This came according to the newspaper "Mundo Deportivo", which confirmed that the loss of the final match of the King's Cup today against Sevilla may oust former technical director of Bilbao from his current position

The newspaper confirmed that a state of great anger in the management of Barcelona surrounds Valverde after failing to climb to the semi-finals of the Champions League despite the outcome of the first leg against Rome

The Catalan team had won four goals against a single goal at the Camp Nou in front of the wolves of the Italian capital, before losing a clean three and returning to the tournament

The Spanish Cup final today may be the first championship for the club with Barcelona, after losing the Super Cup at the start of the season against Real Madrid
